To the IT department at our headquarters in Aarhus, we are looking for a sharp student assistant who can join the rest of the department in developing tools and workflows. At M2 Film, we have a creative, ambitious, informal, and young environment with many skilled and dedicated employees.
Our new colleague will be involved in many interesting IT projects, so if you are proficient in Python or master JavaScript perfectly, and if you want to work in an international company in the film industry for about 20 hours a month, this might be the job for you.
About the job
Your tasks will include:
- Development and execution of digital solutions from small scripts to web solutions (front-end/back-end, apps, scripts, tools, etc.)
- Maintenance of existing solutions
- Assisting in the selection of technology for the projects to be solved
- Other miscellaneous tasks in the department
You will collaborate with M2 Film's IT manager as well as other colleagues at M2 (the end users). The position is approximately 20 hours per month, with working hours typically on weekdays either in the morning or afternoon.
A bit about you
We imagine that you are a student in higher education within IT, such as information technology, data science, or similar, and that you are looking for a part-time job a few hours a week.
As a person, you thrive in teamwork but are also capable of working independently on tasks. You are creative and not afraid to try new technologies. We place great importance on you being organized as a person.
Additionally, you have opinions and can challenge projects to achieve the best possible result. You are technologically ahead of the curve and not afraid to try new technologies.
We expect you to have experience with at least one and preferably more of the following languages:
- Python
- Ruby
- C#
- JavaScript (Node.js)
If you also have experience with MySQL, Linux, MacOS, PHP, and Smartsheet, it will be an advantage but not a requirement.
